About me

Hi, I'm Yuvi, a UX Designer and sometimes a writer. I'm currently based in California, where I spend my days reading books, watching movies, and designing user experiences.

I'm always curious about new things, but I also like to take my time and savor the details. I love listening to people more than talking. A weird blend of questioning every thing but having a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of tradition.

My design journey has been a wild ride. I started out with a vague interest in design, but it wasn't until I started learning about UX that I really fell in love with it.

From the early days of watching Sony Vegas video editing tutorials to exploring the intricacies of Photoshop, my passion for design began to take root. Eventually, I mustered the courage to pursue a degree in design, and that decision brought about a mixture of excitement and uncertainty.

Soon enough I was introduced to User Experience. UX is all about creating experiences that are both functional and enjoyable, and I find that to be incredibly rewarding.

One of my favorite projects was designing a website for a visually impaired user. It was a challenge, but it was also incredibly gratifying to know that I was making a difference in someone's life. Beyond that, getting to learn new concepts felt extremely exciting. It helped me broaden my understanding and expertise.

Since then, I've continued to learn and grow as a designer. I'm always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of design and create experiences that are truly meaningful.

Maybe I am just using this as an excuse to quench my own curiosity ;p

I don't consider myself a writer, yet. I write for fun and for my own enjoyment. But one day, I hope to become really good at it and create something truly amazing.

Stories are the foundation of human society. They allow us to live cohesively because we share common stories. Words have such power, and these stories are shared across generations through writing. Of course, it's not the perfect way to do things, since people can interpret things differently. Ideas and stories can change over time, and each generation has its own perspective. But that's what makes it interesting. It allows the future to decide how they want to interpret things.

For me, writing is all about asking questions. These questions may not be as important as saving the world, but they are still necessary. They help me explore and understand the world around me better. So even though my writing may not have a grand purpose, it still holds value for me.
